Day Five - St. Maarten

Day Five - St. Maarten - A Day at the Beach and Shopping

Pulling into port with a couple of smaller boats in port
Arrive in St. Maarten this morning. This is call The Friendly Island and I understand why, because I spend a lots of money here.

Three large ships in port morning, but Oasis is the biggest. This town, Philipsburg, has grown in the last 10 years because of these large ships. Although I see continuing growth it is still dirty and needs repairs. The Port is nice.

Spent some time on the Beach but some rain and having to get to the jewelry store cut that short.

Lunch on the water paid for by Kenny our jewelry, what does that tell you.

The view from the table

Beautiful evening in Central Park Deck 8 where we had a great dinner at Giovanni's Table, outside table. Great seating as we had a violinist and piano duet playing next to our table.

Wine bar in Central Park

Open air Central Park

Our Appetizers
Dinner lasted to long and we could not get seats at the show. We were to see Frozen in Time Ice Show. Not easy going to the shows on this ship. More people than seats available. Even if you have a reservation it is not reserved and people line up an hour plus to get good seats.
